About

Holly and The Healers, formerly known as The Holly Gleason Trio, is a folk rock/Americana band made up of Holly Gleason on vocals and acoustic guitar, JD Berlingeri on upright bass, “Dr J” (Jeffrey Judkins) on mandolin and electric guitar and the band welcomes their newest member, Jim Sitter, on percussion. This newly formed combo is making waves throughout the Rogue Valley. Performing a dynamic repertoire of Holly’s original tunes, eclectic covers, plus a dash of gypsy jazz & blues here and there make this spicy little trio unpredictable and full of foot-stomping, dance-worthy moments interspersed with heart-melting ballads. Holly’s other-worldly voice combines powerful, sultry, and heartwarming dimensions to classic folk and new Americana music.

The trio met at Jacksonville’s Boomtown Saloon open mic and have been playing the Southern Oregon live music circuit since 2018. The band recently recorded a single track “Getting Better” with Brett Levick studios and are in process of recording their first album. Holly’s solo album “Light Show” is available on iTunes and Spotify (or ask Alexa to play Holly Gleason!) and her self-produced debut EP “Miracle Mile” was released under the moniker Sister Uprising in 2012 featuring Parliament-Funkadelic member Ricky Rouse’s electric guitar on the celebrated track “Ganja Time.” Holly was featured in Southern Oregon Magazine’s Fall 2020 issue “Women That Rock: Leading Ladies We Love.”
